      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite un selezionatore. La procedura ha richiesto 4 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Snowflake (Dublin, CA) nel mese di apr 2025

      Colloquio

I applied for the position in March. I got an email about close to 2 weeks for a phone interview with the recruiter. Questions were easy she asked about my experience. The recruiter pushed me through to the hiring manager. I had a zoom interview with the hiring manager the following week. During zoom interview, the hiring manager did not turn on her video at all. The interview I thought went well. She asked about my experience especially in UAT. She told me I would hear back in a few days with next steps. (Which I did). I emailed the recruiter to say thank you and to thank the hiring manager. But the email bounced back. Apparently, the recruiter that I was working with is no longer at Snowflake and I was not notified someone else would step in. I had to email the recruiting coordinator and she connected me with another recruiter. The other recruiter copied another recruiter who would be working with me. I finally got an email to fill out my availability for the panel interview (3 people,30mins each). Me being excited I sent my availability right away! Mind you I filled my availability on Thursday. I emailed them on Monday to get an update. Finally on Tuesday I received the invite for the onsite interview with the Sr. Order Management Analyst. I arrived a few minutes early. Parking was easy to find. I checked in and waited for my host. The conference room for my interview was on the second floor, but I overheard my host telling the reception he did not want to take me to the 2nd floor and use the room on the 1st floor. We go in the room and the interview started. He did not make any eye contact with me. But first thing he said was that he does all of the UAT on the team. He also mentioned the role was all about processing transactions with I was I told him I was okay with. Currently, I am in a senior specialist position. This position would be a higher role for me as an ANALYST and he told me why would I want to go to a lower role. Isn’t an ANALYST higher than a SENIOR SPECIALIST? I asked if the position has side projects. The answer was If I feel like you can handle it, you will. When I was telling him about my experience, he would always mention how he does that in his current role. Which is fine, but his tone was as if he was trying to be in competition with me. My interview ended. The 2 other interview were on Zoom video. They went well. I emailed the recruiter to get updates. I was told they are having more conversations. I was excepting a call to even tell me they did not chose me. Instead, I got an email stating they passed on my application. For a growing company, this was NOT a good experience. Especially when the person interviewing me trying to have a competition about the things he does. When I researched Snowflake, I really liked their company values. But this interview did not align with their company values at all.

      Domande di colloquio [1]

      Domanda 1

What system do you use to process orders? How many orders do you process in a day? In a month? In a quarter? We work until midnight EOM/EOQ. What are your strengths and weaknesses? What projects have you worked on? How many projects? What kind of UAT have you done?
