Had an email exchange with the CEO, then we set up a phone call. On the call, the CEO told me about the project and the team and gave a lot of great info that you usually have to coax out of an interviewer. We agreed to do a follow-up with more team members via a video call instead of flying me out. The video call with the team was friendly and informal and I felt like I got a very good sense of the culture and needs of the job.
