I recently got an interview with spectrum and was moved forward to the next hiring step (in person interview).
I didn't go due to how UNPROFESSIONAL the recruiter was on the phone.
He spoke demeaning to me. I had scheduled the phone interview for the morning and when I answered his call, the first thing he says to me is:
"Do you know how I am?" I said yes and he replied with, "Good, just checking."
The interview was filled with him being short with me. Scoffing at me when he asked why I didnt work for a year and I said I was being a stay at home mom.
When asked about what times I can work, I said willing to work early to as 6am to as late as 8pm (due to having to be home for my kid)...he got irate sounding.
He interrupted with "So youre saying that 8pm is your hard stop? If it is, Im ending the interview now."
I lied and said I'd be willing to work late (for them its till 12am)
He replied with a short" "Good".
When he told me to dress professional, he told me to not to dress "boujee"...I was dumbfounded he would use those words with me. I dont know what made him think Im someone who dresses that way but its a very unprofessional term.
After I ended the call, I decided this company isnt right for me.
Just like a potential employee should show good first impression...so does a company. And the man that interviewed me was rude, short, and far from impressionable.
Ironically, my friend (who is male) interviewed with the same man and was never spoken down to. Nor was told not to dress "boujee". Im unsure what cause this man to be as aggressive as he was to me but I hope spectrum corrects how they conduct interviews in the future.
First round was on the phone. Second round in person. Haven't heard back yet, but it was just today. So i am still waiting to hear back. They were very friendly actually. So just waiting to hear back.

It was great. Easy. Jsut asked a few questions like what would I do if an angry customer calls and have I ever worked somewhere where another employee and I disagreed on something and how did we resolve it.

It was smooth and you know if they like you on the spot so right after interview you get the ball rolling on paper work ro start training.All just be polite and answer the questions.
