La procedura ha richiesto 2 giorni. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Starbucks (New York, NY) nel mese di lug 2011
Colloquio
Had a phone interview and then a 1:1 interview. Be prepared because the manager first called me while I was on vacation in MD and asked me a few interview-like questions right away. Ex. Why do you want to work here? When are your availabilities? What makes you a good candidate?
She wanted me to come in for an interview right away (she called me Friday and wanted me to come in Monday). I told her I was away from NYC at the moment and will be back on Wednesday. I spent the next few days playing phone tag with her as I tried to set up an interview. She finally calls me back and wanted me to come in the next day.
The 1:1 interview took about 5 mins and was pretty easy. Questions she asked included: "Tell me about yourself." "In the past 6 months, how often were you late to work or class?" "At your last job, what was your relationship to your co-workers?" "How long does it take you to get here?" "What train do you take?" "Have you ever missed a test because of health reasons or family issues?" (I thought this last question was weird.)
She said she would call me the following Monday to let me know if I got the job. I never got the call, so I called back a few times. Each time someone else picked up and told me the manager wasn't there. When I went to the Starbucks to buy a drink a week later, I saw the girl who was also interviewing the same day as me working there. I guess that means I didn't get the job.
Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Starbucks (Subang Jaya)
Colloquio
Basically a short chat about my availability, my interest in the job, why I want to work there, how familiar I am with coffee and what my past experiences in hospitality were.
Easiest interview I've ever had. I was only asked 3 questions, 'tell me about yourself, what are your strengths & weaknesses, what is your availability?' Lasted about 10 minutes maximum
it was great. I answered every question thoughtfully and easily. You have to have two interviews, one with the manager and one with the district manager. It is a in person interview. They ask many questions and will either hire you on the spot or you will have to call to see if you get the position.
Thank you for taking the time to write your feedback. We appreciate your input and are happy to hear that you’ve enjoyed the interview process here at Starbucks.
