      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 3 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Story Terrace nel mese di dic 2021

      Colloquio

It was one of the most unprofessional recruitment processes I have ever attended. I was a part of three interviews, and the last was the final one that included a case study. It was not professional from the beginning. The interviewer offered me to book a timeslot for the interview when she was on annual leave. I found it out when I sent a follow-up email an hour before the scheduled interview requesting a Zoom link (which was not included in the invitation) and it took me aback. Instead, we rescheduled it for another day. That did not go any better. This person did not appear for 15 minutes when I sent a follow-up email asking whether it was going ahead. In the end, she said she mixed up the Zoom accounts. Her dog running in and out of the room was slightly disturbing. The second stage was with HR. I have a positive experience from this interview as she appeared on time, asked precise questions and made me feel comfortable discussing certain issues. The final (case study) interview was probably the worst. It was with the initial interviewer and a higher manager. The higher manager came in late and was completely unprepared - he did not know the case study and did not read my CV. There was a constant interruption during my presentation with the interviewers having their messages sound on, they were texting each other throughout, and again - the dog. In the end, they harshly cut it off when my presentation finished, without allowing me to ask questions which I found unprofessional, unwelcoming, and quite rude as well. I put a lot into the preparations for each interview, especially the case study, and it was highly disappointing that the hiring manager ignored my request for feedback in the end. The company itself seems to be very unorganised, therefore, I do not recommend working there without some serious reorganisation. It is a shame because generally their mission and vision are very prospecting with a potential for growth on the market.

      Domande di colloquio [1]

      Domanda 1

The case study required to: 1) Assess writer's suitability to the company 2) What is your strategy for bringing the writer pool up to health while ensuring that ad hoc requests are handled? 3) How to optimise coaching and training of the writers?
