The interview process started out promising! I had one initial, 30-minute call with the hiring manager. It went quite well. Moved to the final round interview which took the format of 4, 45-minute video meetings. I enjoyed each of the conversations I had. Unfortunately, what started out as a really positive experience ended up trending toward the negative. I found I didn't move forward by way of receiving the automatic candidate experience survey. Then, it took nearly 4 weeks to get any context around the hiring decision. To be fair, I think this was a fluke and I'm happy to have any context at all!

My experience was good! It included an initial recruiter screen, followed by interviews focused on sourcing strategy, stakeholder management, and Stripe’s values. Interviewers were well-prepared and asked insightful, scenario-based questions. Communication was clear throughout, and feedback was timely. Overall, a smooth and respectful experience that reflects Stripe’s high standards.

The interview process started with a phone screen, followed by a mock intake, culture interview, and ended with a department leader interview. Overall really friendly team and recruiter provided a lot of prep in advance. Hiring manager also took the time to understand my motivations and concerns throughout the process.
