I was invited to have an informal phone interview but I when I spoke to the woman on the phone (who was very kind and friendly) the questions were not informal. They asked me pretty difficult questions about myself and situations that I had been in. I was not expecting that and was taken a bit off guard

This was followed by a short technical/assignment round and a final conversation with the team. Overall, the communication was clear, timelines were shared in advance, and the interviewers were friendly and professional.
