Very robotic and weird process, starting by using a timer to give you exactly 3 minutes to answer the 'tell me about yourself question' if you're able so sum it up in less than 3 minutes they ask you to use the couple seconds left, which I found hilarious and amateur. They will make couple open questions, followed by couple yes or no questions. The recruiter description of the job sounded like the same concept of modern slavery. Low base salary, no commission, you get like $500 for expenses each month to pay for your travel/transportation/food which she added on the math to my OTE and I still don't understand how having to budget for cheap hotels and food is actually a benefit. She said it take min. 2 years to get promoted even tho you're a high performer because it takes a long time to open new positions, you'll work at least one full weekend per month and will have no day off that week and NO extra money paid for that, you'd be on call for pretty much any time of the day/evening and weekends and remember, no extra money no matter how hard you work and how much value you add. The recruiter explanation for it is that after years when you get to be promoted your pay becomes full commission and thats when the 6 figures come in. If you're looking into getting in medical device sales on Stryker, I do not know about the other 'departments' but do not accept this kind of offer, there are tons of sales jobs you'd be making 6 figures without having to sell your soul and literally will have no financial/life balance at all. They require a bachelors degree which you spent thousands on to give you crumbles. We all know how this industry is extremely lucrative, there are other companies within the industry that will value what you bring and treat you as a human being.
