Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite un selezionatore. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Suffolk Construction (Everett, MA) nel mese di apr 2017
Colloquio
Not overly complicated. Internal HR found me on Linkedin and cold email me. I knew about Suffolk thru their reputation but was hesitant because of their reputation of working their employees at the cost of their family life. I told them I was not overly interested but HR rep convinced me to take a chance to interview since it was a low cost / high return scenario. I met with hiring manager and was about a 1.5 hr interview. I met several other senior level people also.

Domanda 1
They asked me a lot of technical question and was getting a sense of how competent I was with construction as well as local culture.

I had applied and was contacted by an in-house recruiter. It was a collegial and good interview, I then interviewed with the manager for the role. I felt that we had excellent banter; that we discussed the conpany and the role and the hirimg manager needs in detail. We aslo discussed next steps. I did send a thank you email and a follow-up to the recruiter. It's been 6 weeks, and I never heard back. I was "ghosted". It happens. These interviews are highly subjective. It is unfortunate to not have any resolution; leaves a negative sense about the company.

Tell me about yourself, what should I know about you.

I had several rounds of phone interviews with senior executives from different departments. Everything was pretty casual for a senior level job at a large GC. No weird quizzes or personality tests.
Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite segnalazione di un dipendente. La procedura ha richiesto 8 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Suffolk Construction (Boston, MA) nel mese di set 2025
Colloquio
Long, drawn out, daunting. 8 weeks, 15 different people is nauseating. HR, Talent acquisition, 3 Execs. 6 PMs, 4 VPs, Cumbersome, unorganized. I fully understand people wanting input, but this was ridiculous.
