Applied direct, and received an invite to interview one week later. Initial stage was a HR screen, which was a little unusual for a tech startup. The meeting was fine and appeared to go well. At the end of the call, the interviewer said that they would be in touch in the coming days with either some good news, or some constructive feedback. Four days later, I received a generic rejection email with no feedback. Disappointing to receive no feedback given the time spent applying for the role, and reflects a little badly on the company as a whole.
