My initial interview was with the VP of Marketing. The conversation seemed overall positive and I was asked if I would be free for the week. However, after the initial interview I was ghosted. I understand that timelines change and I may not have been the first choice, but clear communication and mutual respect go a long way. Especially coming from a higher up in the marketing/sales department, communication is vital to their job description. An update of any sort would have been appreciated. Overall, the interview process felt disorganized due to lack of follow-through. Compensation was also discussed and was below market value too.
