I had a first-round panel interview with three scientisit and it was a bad experience. They came across as arrogant and were condescending about my experiences. I was told the interview would be a 30 minute informal chat about the job and my experiences/motivations but I was immediatley asked technical questions based on my CV. Based on this interaction my impression is that it would be a toxic environment to work in.
