      Colloquio

The process took about a month. I was first phone interviewed by Avery White. Then I was called down to Tait Towers for in-person interview. Unlike the other poster, I wasn't offered any sort of compensation for my travel. I was called again for a second in-person interview at Tait Towers with VP-HR, and other few guys. Then I was again phone interviewed by Avery White. They were really impressed by my accomplishments. I had mentioned to them about my visa status and was told that they do sponsor H1-B visas. When I got the offer letter, there was no language of H1-B visa, 401-K, some other benefits. So, I called them up to clarify. I was told that they "missed" sending the other stuff. And when I clarified about H1-B, I was told that they "thought" I already had H1-B visa and they would just need to transfer it. Now, any HR worth their salt, would know that no new graduate without having done any OPT can get H1-B visa. And NO professional HR or director or VPs will "assume" anything. I had been as clear as possible. But these guys need to step up their game. Also, any company that would compensate one person for travel, compensates all the candidates for their travel expenses. And after offering the job letter, you should atleast make up for the financial trouble caused to the candidate due to the company's fault. They know that no candidate will sue them, because it will come in the background check and will become too hot for any employer to hire. And they play on that fact. The company is great, good people as far as I can tell. They need to train the HR better. A note to anyone interviewing at Tait, make sure you get EVERYTHING in writing. If there is anything you need to disclose, make sure that you break it down and make it as simple as possible and send them the same information in writing. I have been out of about $1000 due their lack of sincerity and then subsequently rescinding the offer. I hope others don't go through this.

      Domanda 1

They asked me about my projects, how I addressed various situations, and a ton of typical behavioral questions.

I got interview call after 2 weeks of applying. Got a phone call from HR and then Hiring manager. I got shortlisted for an onsite interview. Due to bad weather on interview day, they cancelled the interview process and ask me to inquire about rescheduling after a week. I contacted HR a week after but there was no response. After consistent follow up for consecutive 3 months, HR told me that you will have an interview next week. But I never received any confirmation about scheduled onsite interview. On the day before interview I received an email saying interview has been rescheduled and they will confirm the date in a week. But I still haven't received anything about that. It has been more than 6 months now. HR is extremely horrible and rude. I wonder how the employees work in this company with such horrible HR management.

I get a call from this lady asking my availability the next day for a phone interview with a senior HR manager. I gave my availability for the very next day and kept waiting for their call. Nobody called. After several failed attempts to follow-up, which the lady conveniently kept ignoring, almost after a month I decided I would give it a last shot and contacted her again to which she replied that she would speak to her senior HR manager and asked me to keep myself free that day. Again no response! Several follow ups later she replied arrogantly keeping this manager (which is her namesake) in cc saying that she had called me several times, several days and I never picked her call. And I was never more sure about anything else ever. I knew I had my phone beside me the entire time and nobody had called. No voice mails, no emails confirming my availability. If this is how you conduct your interviews Tait Towers I am sure I don't want to be working for you! And yes if you were not keen on interviewing someone, you shouldn't waste his or her time.
