Colloquio
I was first contacted by a recruiter to set up a phone interview. She was great and the phone interview went good. After that, I went in for a face to face interview a couple days later. I met with the branch manager and the head teller. The branch manager did all of the talking and the head teller just sat there. Neither of them seemed to interested in what I had to say. Asked me typical questions like times I dealt with a difficult customer, how I go about meeting sales goals, what my current manager would say about me, etc. They told me they had quite a few more candidates to interview, but they would be putting out an offer by the following Wednesday. About two months later and I never heard anything back. I understand if I did not get the position, but I feel that it was very unprofessional to just never contact me again. A quick email stating that another candidate was offered the position would have been fine. I'm sure experiences vary from branch to branch, but I was not at all impressed with the interview process or the attitude of the branch manager. I felt that I was wasting his time when he was the one who initiated the interview with me. I probably would not apply to this specific branch again.

Domanda 1
Explain a time that you had to handle a difficult customer.
What are your strategies for meeting sales goals?
How would your current manager describe you?
Why do you want to work in banking?
So far in the first stages of the hiring process. Submitted application last week and within days got a message from the hiring manager (I suspect) asking for availability for a 30min video interview. A bit informal of an approach as I usually get reached out via email or phone call with more instruction on what to expect.

I applied online and got an online interview with the district manager. Next, I had an interview at the specific location. I was not told it was a panel interview and the 3 managers were very unprofessional. They asked inappropriate questions, changed the question after my response, and it was overall a very toxic/humiliating one hour interview.
Was very straightforward, make sure to remain calm. Answer confidently and be honest. Try to know some fun facts about the company; they love it when you are knowledgeable and know about where you want to work. It shows that you are interested and that it's not just another job.
