Start off with what you previously did at your previous job and try to compare with what you can do with that experience for this new job. For example, "Well, I previously worked on such and such company where I was a customer support associate and I assisted clients with their income taxes and I also was a file clerk. Even though I love what I did I would love the chance of using my previous skills to work here as a teller.
