Totally 3 different rounds. 1.design, 2. coding &3.leadership round.
After clearing all the rounds I had a discussion with HR.
HR asked me to attend one final round with a senior person from Tesco Bangalore.
Before attending this round I was fully impressed by the Tesco interview process and the interviewers with whom I interacted. But the last round totally changed my perception.
This is what happened in last round:
The last round person did not even know that I already attended 3 rounds. His motive was to prove he is superior than me instead of hiring the right candidate.
Few incidents which does not look like professional :
1. When I gave quick self introduction about myself I was about to tell few info about my personal. The immediate response from interviewer "No personal, only technical"
2. He started with a simple problem to solve. I provided the brute force solution in my laptop. The response after seeing my solution, " As an experienced candidate this is not the way to think, I gave the requirements very clearly even then you are not able to go through. If you don't know accept it we will jump to next question".
Even though I know the optimal solution I lost my interest to explain him. ( Moreover the question he asked is very basic)
3. He started the next question, I asked few clarifications since there are lots of discrepancies with the way he explained to me. The response from him is " I am clear with questions but you are not understanding what I am talking about, you are diverting. The question which I asked you, I already solved in my laptop".
After these I told him to conclude the interview. The moment I came out of room he tried to make me not to interact with HR. But somehow I got a chance to talk the HR and conveyed my bad experience just to make sure another candidate should not face same guy or similar experience.
HR asked me to send an email. After sending even for courtesy no acknowledgement.
Only good in this bad experience is I met that person in advance in interview instead of working with him.
