Really confusing and drawn out interview process. I’d been referred for a permanent job. Four interviews, plus an initial chat with the recruiter. I had to give a short presentation in my second interview. The last interview was with a person from a different consultancy altogether, who seemed to think they were interviewing me to start immediately for a short term contract job. I was not available to do the contract. Still not sure what happened or how I wound up in that situation. Everyone seemed really nice but I didn’t get a sense they knew what they needed for the position. The exact job I’d be doing was never really clear.
