Submitted application,, received invite for phone screening a week later. After phone screening, I was invited for an interview with department manager one week later. My interview lasted less than 30 minutes even though it was scheduled for an hour. He didn’t like me and the feelings were quite mutual. I asked him why the position was open and he conceded that it was his best friend in the position originally working under him and just normal “attrition” .This guys own best friend couldn’t tolerate working for him and left the organization. The interviewer behaved like a much meaner and unprofessional version of Dwight from the office.
