First I had a phone interview with the HR, which was pretty standard. Then the marketing director called me for a second phone interview. That was the weirdest call ever... they didn’t seem interested in asking questions (isn’t that what interviews are for?) and just kep silent while I tried to keep the conversation going - with no success. When I asked about the office culture, they said everyone is excited, “but not too excited because it’s a job, there’s an acceptable level of excitement”. Like... ok.
