To start;, Hartford in-house HR contacted me first via Linkedin. I was interested in hearing more since the position is closer to where I live then where I am now, so I went along with a few phone screenings by HR, who then proceeded to set me up with a longer phone interview with the dept. manager. Thought it went fine until I got a call back 2 days later from the original HR person saying they weren't interested based on my experience but appreciated my curiosity??? Don't know, been doing this for almost 14 years, I have the experience and designations, if they would've asked some more detailed questions and requested samples of work like some of their competitors, it would've more then satisfied them. Hard to describe that much information over a phone interview.
