A first call with a recruiter was followed by an interview with 2 hiring managers. The first interview was quite messy with the recruiter asking 3 times the same question in different ways. The interview with hiring managers slightly better, but at the same time being the job spec not very specifically written the questions were very generic regarding experiences and the general idea of the job. In the end, the result is more a judgement on what you feel the job may be. So the feeling was that they were trying to check if my work philosophy was more similar to their philosophy instead of trying to understand how could I apply my experience. There should have been a third step, that never arrived. Like every other job application in Spain if they think you are not a match they disappear ghosting you. They promise an answer that will never arrive because your time does not have any value for them. Such a shame for a company that is part of a group like Tripadvisor. Rejection is part of the job process, ghosting is just poor unprofessional taste.
