I had an initial informal phone call with the hiring manager which was fairly easy, and I heard back fairly soon afterwards. The next phone call was a few days later with the same person and we went through a number of the same questions again, repeating myself pretty much verbatim from the first interview. Then we moved on to the classic competency questions. No matter what I answered here it felt like I was being prompted to answer in the exact way that matched the interviewers box-checking exercise. Despite the fairly rigid interview structure, the hiring manager came across as fairly nice and open. However, after promising I would hear back the next afternoon, I was then ignored for two weeks after sending an email asking for an update. When I asked for feedback he said no. Having gone through the entire hiring process at Alphasights, the difference in standard is huge. The Alphasights recruitment team are quick to respond and when I asked for feedback following the case study interview, the manager I interviewed with offered to call me and we spoke at length. It would be nice if Third Bridge could treat graduate applicants with a similar degree of respect.
