I was contacted by a recruiter and then offered a 30 min Zoom interview with someone from the London team about 2 weeks later. The sound on Zoom cut out twice so we had to revert to the good old telephone. The guy interviewing me didnt even work in the department the job was for so knew nothing about beauty brands or retail. He was simply there to take notes on what I said and they would be fed into a big database of other candidates.
