It was a normal interview process,rigorous ,they had five stages and I excelled in the five stages only for the recruiter to tell me that they said I was over qualified. For crying out loud why would you string me along for 5 rigorous interviews and at the last minute discover that I was over qualified.i think that is the height of unprofessionalism and stupidity on the part of anyone that made that decision.i also think it was a clear case of racism because I guess I was the only black person...this was a job I haven't even done before ,according to the interviewers it was a new department that has just been carved out in the company, so how do one get over qualified?it still shocks me.it only shows how things are done in the company.i wish the company all the best but advice is that there are time wasters.
