I was well-prepared and excited for my first interview, knowing I'm a strong candidate for the role. HR person was taking over for another person who was out sick. Very disappointing experience. It felt like they were going through the motions of asking questions, and my interview was just a list of things they needed to complete. From start to finish it was apparent they weren't interested, so getting the follow up email of "thanks but no thanks" was not a surprise.
