Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Trader Joe's (New York, NY) nel mese di dic 2020
Colloquio
I was interviewed during a day where they were very busy and visibly stressed, so for this I sympathize and offer some understanding. However, I was surprised at how impersonal the interview itself was. I was not asked a single question about myself, not even the basic "Tell me about yourself". There were about 7 very specific work scenario related questions largely based on my previous experience, and my interviewer was yawning with disinterest for the entirety of our interview together. I left feeling very discouraged and unvalued. Even if I was offered to continue on to the next round of interviews, I do not think that the specific store I applied to would be the environment I am seeking. Which is a shame, because I always assumed Trader Joe's employees are so kind and friendly. Oh well, onto the next.

It's two to three interviews, the final with the Captain (or highest manager) of the store. The interviews are largely to get to know your personality and how well you would do at customer service.
The interview process was absolutely wonderful! I didn't feel stressed or nervous and it felt like I was just chatting with a friend! Trader Joes is a great company and the interview was great.

Very chill, asked things a lot of job interviews don't, more personal down to earth questions. Made me feel very comfortable. Professional but also cool vibes from everyone who interviewed me. Went to one interview with mates and another with the captain.
