I applied online and they reached out to me for a phone interview. The phone interview was brief and questions were straightforward, focused on my background and why I was interested in the position/company. They told me at the end of the interview that I would be invited to an in-person interview, which was scheduled with the hiring manager. This interview was much more challenging and questions were job related. For example, I was asked about the rules of accounting and was asked to recall specific financial equations.
