When submitting application, the manager of the position to which i was applying for came out and talked with the front desk personnel. Later my manager had said they "decided right then I would fit in" but without saying anything, they went in the back and I was called in to a low level of HR for the interview. That HR employee asked the typical questions, eg: favorite thing about working on the industry, most challenging, etc... After that first interview, they left the office and came back about 5-10 minutes later to bring me to a second interviewer, who was the manager of the position I applied for. That manager asked questions about work history and basically qualifying questions to make sure I'd fit into their specific program.
