I applied for the position and was called about 2 days later for an interview. The following week I met with the manager at the branch for an hour interview. I was asked about my previous role at a different financial institution I had worked for. I was asked about how I would handle difficult situations and upset customers. When I was done, the manager informed me that I was going to have to have a phone interview with another colleague of his. I had my phone interview the following week which also consisted of similar questions I was previously asked in the first interview. When I finished, the manager I was interviewing with let me know I was going to find out in about a week if an offer is made.

How would you handle an upset customer that had a problem with their account?
First, I started out with a phone interview with recruiter followed by in person interview with district manager. At the time, there was no assigned branch manager so the standard process may vary from mine.

Why should we pick you over other candidates that are applying?
I applied on the website. us bank branch manager contacted me. i made appointment for the interview. i passed the interview. next interview is with district manager. but my first language is not English. so i failed the interview. but the interview is good experience.
Asked the appropriate questions. I felt comfortable and the manager was easy going and let his expectations be known. Make sure to ask a lot of questions about the position. My previous banking experience made it easier for me.
