The interview process was more like a group interview they interviewed at least 10 to 20 people and set them up with different managers for different post offices they pretty much were trying to meet a quote

The interview process is not traditional. You meet with a bunch of other people and watch video's and take a driving course. If you pass the driving course you are hired for the job. If you fail... You have to repeat the course again and re- apply

I didn't receive an actual interview. I applied for the position, and there was a questionnaire after I filled out the application. I received what I believed to be a pretty low score, but I got a job offer about a month later. I reported to get fingerprinted and waited to get a start date.

The interview was 45 years ago,they asked me if I could serve the public and walk 10 miles a day. I started as a walk out Carrier. I lasted 37 years and 3 months.
