I recently participated in the initial interview for an Azure Data Engineer position. Regrettably, the experience was not satisfactory. I recommend that for future interview processes, consideration be given to selecting a qualified interviewer. I believe that an interview should not only entail asking challenging questions that can be found with a quick Google search, but also include scenario-based inquiries. Additionally, I observed that the interviewer displayed attitude problems, which made the interview process even more challenging. Conversely, I attended an interview with Tiger Analytics for the same position, and I can attest that it was one of the best interviews I have ever experienced. Their approach involved posing relevant questions and scenarios to determine the candidate's suitability for the role. This was much more effective than merely testing for difficulty level. I would suggest that the interviewing process at UST be revised to incorporate scenario-based questions and more professional attitudes among the interviewers.
