It was utterly an unfair competition. My friend referred me for the position and one of the staff from recruitment team arranged a Zoom meeting for March 13th at 1:30 pm, but she cancelled it at 1:40 pm on the same day. I explained to her that I took a day off for the interview and wouldn't be able to rearrange it for that week. Despite my disappointment, she emailed me to reschedule either before or after my work hours. I had been waiting for a rescheduled interview, but she didn't reply. After I sent a reminder email, I was told that the position had been filled. I cannot believe how my time was wasted, how unprofessional the hiring process was, and her lack of communication.
