The Unilever recruiter wanted to do the interview on the What's App because he was based in the Phillipines I have never been asked to use such an unprofessional tool for an interview. Since I dont use What's App he could not seem to get a time that worked for him during the US business day so I ended up doing the interview at 8:30 pm to make it convenient for him due to the 12 hours time difference. He was still late for the interview! He wanted to know what my salary was and then would not disclose the range for the position. I found his questions to not be in line with the position and his ability to understand my responses was challenging as his command of the English language could be improved. He said he would get back to me in a few weeks. I never heard from him until the another recruiter asked him this was months later.....

For a sales position interview I was asked to give an example of Brand Activation. I asked if he could clarify which aspect of Brand Activation. Brand Activation falls under Marketing. He could only respond by saying Brand Activation. When I asked another Unilever recruiter about this she was miffed as to why he was asking me Marketing questions for a sales position. She said he needed more training.

Face to face and telephonic interviews led by different people. 4-5 interviews spread across two three months. No psychological tests or case studies. Only plain interviews. Also asked about past experience. Largely technical Qs only
