      Colloquio per Flight Attendant

      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 4 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso United Airlines (San Francisco, CA) nel mese di giu 2015

      Colloquio

On June 7, 2015, I applied online for United Airlines. Make sure all the information is correct and you are not missing anything. After submitting the application it prompted me to answer questions. Answer the questions honestly. On June 8, 2015, I then received an email informing me that I had made it to the next step in the hiring process. The email told me that I would have five days to complete a video interview. On the fifth day, I took my computer to my room to complete my interview. At this time I clicked on the link in my email in which took me to the website to take the interview. They will give you sample questions and you can practice for however long you want. Be aware that the questions you practice are not the same questions that will be asked. After you feel comfortable, click on the link to start your interview. My interview consisted of six questions. On June 12, 2015, I was sent a email inviting me to a group interview in San Francisco. In which could lead to a F2F interview in the same day. This interview would take place on June 25, 2015. If the airport was not with in five hours of you they would get you a flight to the interview. Prior to this interview, I researched this site to figure out all the possible interview sessions they could have. I also studied over 70 flash cards of different possible questions I could be asked. On the 25th, the group interview session started at 8:30 am. Make sure you are at least an hour early. I interviewed at SFO, in the business center, in which you have to take an employee bus to. When I arrived I entered the room and there were 24 other people. There were also several current flight attendants sitting in the back. I immediately started making conversation. They want to see that you have communication skills with many different people. After everyone arrived they called us back to sign in. We then sat back down and a flight attendant gave us a power point on a bunch of other information regarding United Airlines. After all the flight attendants left. The senior flight attendant stayed behind and informed us he would be giving us more information and answering any questions we had. While doing this the other flight attendants would call us one by one to interview us. I was eventually called back to interview with a flight attendant. The flight attendant took me back to a room with a bunch of cubicles. There were several other people in other cubicles interviewing at the same time. The interview started with the flight attendant asking me to read over an announcement then to read it out loud to her. Then she began with the behavioral questions. To make sure you are successful use the STAR answering process. The flight attendant asked me about six of these questions. After answering these she gave me a scenario in which I had to act out with her. After this she asked me if I had any questions for her. Make sure you ask questions. If the ice has not been broken or you have not made them smile this is the time to do that. Ask a question that includes their experience. After I was finished asking questions, she asked me to think of three things as to why I would be a good fit for a flight attendant. She informed me she was going to step out of the room and when she returned to give her my answer. She then came back into the room and asked for my answer. I proceeded to give it to her then she asked me to go with her. She took me to another room in which there was only one other person. I had made it to the final interview! There was a total of five of us that made it to the final interview. After a short period of time they called us one at a time to interview with the senior flight attendant and the manager. They came in the room and walked you down the hall way, asking you to sit on a chair outside the room. In this interview they went over my resume asking me questions about my previous jobs. Make sure to bring up the diversity of the company, safety, and customer service. After the interview they asked for my information. They then informed me they would contact me in 5-7 business days with an answer via email and showed me the way out. I then proceeded to the bus stop, took the bus back to the airport. While waiting, I looked down at my phone and saw a missed call. When calling back, the senior flight attendant who interviewed me answered. He informed me he forgot to get a copy of my drivers license. He told me that since I was gone already, that I could send it in when I received the email. Not even ten minutes after the call, I received an email inviting me to training and a conditional job offer. It informed me I was invited to Houston, Texas from July 19, 2015 to August 21, 2015 for training. (If anyone is going to the same training leave me a message, it would be nice to make contact with someone else going) I was beyond excited and so honored that they had chosen me.

First, you have to apply it and submit your application on United website when the flight attendant opposition is opening. Then, you will get an assessment, kinda like a personality test. Second, you will be invited to a virtual interview. basically, you need to answer 8 questions and record your answers. You have 3 attempts to record it.
