Imagine that you are scheduled for an interview at this well-respected company, but the hiring manager does not show up. The time gets rescheduled, this time you get a hold on him, but due to technical reasons on the company's side only part of the interview happens. So you are hoping to resolve this during the third interview, but the HR mixes up the time zones, so you get a wrong time. Not surprisingly, the interviewer does not show up again. Finally, when he does show up, their on-screen application used for the interview fails again. By the time you resolve the issue, the interviewer is GONE... -- This is what happened to me at United Health Group. At this point I decided not to pursue the position. If you do go for it, the following might help: They were using webex for the on-screen interview. Other than sending an email invite, no explanation was included on how to join the meeting. Perhaps because all you are supposed to do is to click on the button to join. The problem is that webex doesn't seem to work on Windows 10 (This is surprising, as Win10 is a common OS and it has been around for a while). I then tried using a Mac, but webex was still finicky. When clicking on the 'join the meeting' button before the scheduled time, it lead me to the next page, but entering my credentials here never let me into the meeting. Neither logging into a webex user account I set up before. The only way to establish connection was to 1) use a Mac, 2) Wait strictly until the scheduled meeting time starts, 3) Click on the 'join the meeting' button', 4) download an install an application when prompted (this seriously sucks, you should not need to be dealing with this during an interview!) 5) Enter your credentials to join the meeting. Despite of the technical problems, the hiring manager is a very knowledgeable person with quick thinking, and most likely his team will be similar.
