I applied for an administrative position. I received a call 3 days later to do the phone interview with the recruiter. The phone interview went well, the recruiter told me i met all the required qualifications and the desired ones so the recruiter was going to send the report to the hiring manager so they can call me for a in-person interview and that i should be receiving that call by the end of that week. I did not get any phone call, what i got was a "you are still in consideration email" 2 days after the phone interview. I tried contacting the recruiter back and left a VM and i did not hear back from that person. I never got the phone call from the hiring manager neither (i really don't know why because i did meet all the qualifications) and yesterday i got the "rejection email". I don't know what went wrong but i would've appreciated for the recruiter to call me back so i wont feel so disappointed especially if they told me that i was supposed to expect a call from the hiring manager.
