Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Urban Roots
Colloquio
It was very easygoing. It began with group activities to help us get comfortable with each other, which consisted of several icebreakers. Then, it was a short one-on-one interview. The whole process took maybe 1 to 2 hours.

What would you be doing if we did not select you for the fellowship?
Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Urban Roots (Austin, TX) nel mese di lug 2019
Colloquio
Initially, I had a lovely, efficient experience with Urban Roots. I applied for the Development Manager position and was contacted to do a phone interview the next day. A day after my phone interview, I was asked to come in for an in-person with the Development Director and Executive Director. As someone who has been on both sides of a bad interview, I feel confident that at worst the interview went "good, but we'll see who else comes in though" and at best was "great, wow, call references!" I sent a thank you note and followed up via email a week later.
A week after that they let me know they were finishing up interviewing candidates. A week after that my references let me know that they had been contacted and I was really excited! Another week goes by and I reach out again. A week after that, very confused (because of the call to my references) I leave a voicemail. Never heard anything back from anyone, which was disappointing, but if they ghost during a hiring process then that's probably not for me.
If you interview here I would press them for an exact timeline, as they were very vague and awkward when I asked about it in the interview. Maybe should have been the first red flag.
