Initial phone screen with basic technical questions regarding thermodynamics, mechanical engineering and physics. A week later there was a technical phone interview with general propulsion questions, such as common engineering practices and open-ended questions. The final step was an on-site interview with a tour of the facilities. There was a panel interview with 4 different after a 45 minute presentation about the candidate's experience and background. The interviews were mostly high-level questions and background deep dives. The final part of the on-site was an in-depth analysis of one of there engines.
