I submitted an application online and was sent a link to do a video interview. They called me in to do an in-person interview and I was told upon entering that "Your pants look like jeans" (They were not jeans or denim, they were slacks) Then told My blazer "Wasn't professional enough" because they had gold buttons. I was so offended when I entered because I was wearing my hijab and the lady said "You should've been in a suit" I don't own a suit and this is my first "professional" interview. I was dressed business casual. They could've been more supportive and educated me on what they thought was more appropriate to wear but the lady just acted like she didn't want to be bothered with me. I found it to be too harsh for someone who is just joining this field. I will not recommend this company to anyone and I will let the associate who recommended me to work here know about their ugly business practices and lack of professionalism.
