The first step is to submit a video application, where you film yourself answering two questions in detail from a selected list of questions relevant to you area of study. They will also have you submit more general answers that are conceptual and or behavioral. After that there is a submission of transcripts and and other background check, and you will be called for a phone interview. The phone interview is fairly straightforward, with a few questions asked to make sure you know something about the topic you are tutoring for. (I am primarily a math tutor and he asked a few basic Calculus Questions).
