Warning: DO NOT INTERVIEW HERE. After a couple of interviews, they requested that I do a couple of tasks. Task 1 was to look through their app for a few hours and write down ways I would improve it. Task 2 was to film a 5 minute video of myself talking about my favourite software tool. This was for a mid to senior level position and the tasks were of course unpaid. They will use your task to improve their product without paying! I was invited to the task stage and refused to do it because if they truly valued my time then they would not ask me to improve their product for free before even hiring me.
