49 minutes of phone screening with the recruiter. Got to the second round where I was supposed to interview with the senior strategy analyst. Less than one hour before the scheduled interview I got a call from the recruiter assistant. She told me that “something came up” and they need to reschedule the interview for 3 weeks later. I sent an email to the recruiter asking if this was normal for WPS and he just told me that they didn’t have budget to hire anyone. According to him, the budget was cut 2 weeks before. Thus, it means that: 1) when I did the first interview they already knew that they didn’t have budget since it was the week before 2) they scheduled the second interview anyway 3) postponing the interview 3 weeks ahead was just an excuse since they wouldn’t have had budget anyway. 4) total disrespect for candidates’ time. 5) I mean, really!?
