Interviewers do not even come on video. In my case the interviewer himself was confused on what exactly he is asking. They do not focus on your skillset and experience rather what you should be knowing as an "ideal data scientist". No practical learning from such interviews

First is a hackerrank online assessment that you complete on your own time. Then is an interview where you have to be prepared for both technical and behavioral questions. The interviewer was super nice and I could tell they wanted me to succeed.

Technical and behaviour round with hiring manager and team tech lead. Before this there was a written test that had SQL questions, probability problems and machine learning basics. In the technical round:
Gave a problem statement and asked to propose a solution and then optimize it. Then I asked few questions to clarify the data and proposed an initial solution using that data.
