Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto un giorno. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Wantable (Minneapolis, MN) nel mese di mar 2024
Colloquio
The process began with Wantable reaching out to schedule an interview, indicating interest in my application. The interview was quickly arranged, which seemed promising. The entire conversation was unexpectedly brief, lasting only about 7 minutes, which immediately suggested a pre-decided outcome. There was no introduction about the role's purpose, objectives, the organization, or team structure.
Domande di colloquio [1]
Domanda 1
The questions asked were unexpectedly broad and somewhat irrelevant at this early stage, such as "What am I most proud of in my career?" and "What do I need to work on or improve?" While these can be meaningful questions, their placement before establishing any rapport felt out of place and impersonal.
When I had the chance to ask questions about the goal of the role, whether it was a new position, and how it fits within the company structure, the responses were brief and did little to shed light on the position or the expectations, reinforcing the impression that the interview was merely a formality.
The abrupt end to our conversation left me with a sense that the interview was just a procedural step for them. As a customer and a candidate, this experience was disheartening and has influenced my decision to not renew my subscription and instead look towards competitors.
