Call with an in house recruiter followed by 2 rounds of interviews. Initially the recruiter reached out to my and sold the role as being a senior BDM role with a really strong package on offer. First round was with head of sales and HR manager, straightforward competency based interview and 2nd was with the CEO and a HR partner. The role was then downgraded to a junior role and re advertised on linkedIn before giving me any feedback from my interviews. In my 2nd round i was told that it was between myself and another candidate. If i had of known it was a junior candidate they wanted i would not have even applied. I took 2 days off to prepare and attend the interviews which is really disappointing . Respect people's time and be transparent from the beginning of the process!! Overall a complete waste of time and energy!
