During the interview I was explicitly asked will you need benefits? When I answered yes, they asked if it was just for me , or for additional family members. Seems like they knew they couldn’t ask if I had children outright.

Group interview with the partner and two younger associates, one mid level. All men as usual. The younger guys asked more social questions, the partner asked more background questions. They were polite, but arrogant. The most junior guy even made fun of my name. I was pretty sure I would never want eat lunch with these guys for even a month, forget years.
