The Interview went well I did all the paperwork I got the uniform. I got hired. But then I get a text that they are no longer hiring anyone. And that I’m not an employee there. I’m very confused

Standard fast food interview. Gave experience, asked about availability, nothing really too special. Real easy interview. Its just fast food, so not exactly a hardball interview asking about Excel, advanced degrees, etc. The place seemed clean and interview was on time.
Interview was in the dining room of the restaurant, included being walked around store and being introduced to other crew members and given worker's authorization papers. Very low stress, asked about hobbies.
