Went through three rounds of interviews. The interviewers were friendly. The final round was in-person. I was informed one week after the final round of interview that they moved ahead with another candidate by a very basic template email that gets sent out to everyone to keep an eye on their careers page. That's totally okay, but the interviewers were very positive and made me believe that I'm a great fit for the role, which led me to think I'll be offered the position. I asked for any feedback from the HR, but did not receive any reply. That part was disappointing. They were also not transparent with the pay scale. When I asked the HR about the pay range, she redirected the question to me asking me what my expectations were. I thought it was mandatory to disclose the pay range in BC.
