In 2012, I completed a certificate degree in Technical Writing. In 2013, I completed a 9-week online course in Python programming. In 2014, I completed a 6-week online course in Web Application Architectures using Ruby on Rails. In 2015, I completed a 9-week online course in C# programming. Also, in 2014 and 2015, I gave a 90 minute presentation in MS Excel to the job-seeking club I was attending at the time. I saw this as a win-win scenario because it educated my fellow job-seekers in MS Excel while simultaneously giving me an opportunity to tackle a personal fear of public speaking.
