It's clear that Lyft has a serious emphasis on hiring good people who are just as excited about the growth and impact of Lyft as a company. Lyft has also has done an amazing job at differentiating itself from competitors, because it clearly cares about the wellbeing of customers, corporate employees, and drivers. For me, finding a company in the Silicon Valley that is focused on improving lives of human people first, while growing at such a monumental pace, is rare and meaningful.
